About me
I am a freelance Canadian translator. Born and raised in a French Canadian family, I initially graduated as a School Teacher in French; later on, I graduated as a Radio Engineer (electronics: radar, sonar, radio, television, communications, computers, navigation, medical equipment, etc.) in English, in London, England. Over the last 35 years, I translated thousands of documents in the technical, commercial and administrative fields from English to French and French to English to the complete satisfaction of my Customers who still come to me when they need translations. Among my Customers, I count Transport Canada (Federal Government Ministry responsible for all aspects of transport), CAE Electronics (Manufacturer of flight simulators and control systems for atomic reactors and power generating stations), Genicom Corporation (Manufacturer of high performance computer printers), Human Resources Canada (Federal Government Ministry), Medicom (Manufacturer of medical equipment), Montreal Metro (Control systems for subway), General Electric (Control systems), Kraft (Manufacturer of food goods), USNR (Manufacturer of equipment and control systems for sawmills), Philips (Manufacturer of electronic equipment), and many other organizations working in a multitude of sectors. I am familiar with the programs Word, PowerPoint and Excel and use the Internet everyday to communicate with my Customers. My translations are idea translations, not word for word or computer translations; they comprise the translation itself, the revision, the correction and, when possible, the formatting to that of the initial document, eliminating the need for you to rework the document, thus saving you time and money.
